Dalai Lama denies receiving fellatio from Britney Spears

At a press conference in Seattle early this morning, Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, firmly denied having received oral sex from deranged pop star Britney Spears.

"I am trying to prevent a war and create peace in the world", the Tibetan leader stated. "Why are you hounding me about something that did not happen?"

The Dalai Lama claims he has never broken his vow of celibacy either orally or otherwise. Sources close to the leader claimed otherwise.

"I saw Britney sucking him off," said a monk who spoke on condition of anonymity. "I have a videotape".

The monk produced a grainy videotape of a man allegedly strongly resembling the exiled spiritual leader being fellated by a blond woman who may or may not have been Britney Spears. Identification could not be verified as the woman was only seen from behind.

Britney neither confirmed nor denied performing oral sex on the man his followers call "his holiness".

"I don't think so", the superstar diva claimed. "Maybe. I might have when I was drunk. That doesn't count, does it?"

When shown the videotape Britney simply exclaimed "THAT WAS HIM?"

Britney Spears In Minor Traffic Accident On Los Angeles Freeway, No Citations Issued

Pop star Britney Spears has been involved in a minor road accident on the Ventura Freeway in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old was driving her Mercedes through slow-moving traffic when she struck a Nissan which had stopped in front of her, police said.

The Nissan bumped into another vehicle but there was no damage and nobody in any of the cars was injured.

Officers from the California Highway Patrol went to the scene but no charges will be brought, a spokesman said.

This is not the first time that Spears has been involved in a traffic accident.

Last August she escaped a hit-and-run charge after paying an undisclosed amount of money to the owner of a vehicle into which she allegedly crashed in a car park.

And in 2006 Spears admitted making a "mistake" after being photographed driving with one of her sons on her lap, rather than strapped into a baby's car seat.

The singer's father, James Spears, currently has control of her assets.

He was granted what is known as "temporary conservatorship" in February after she was admitted to a psychiatric ward.

Spears' publicist did not respond to an e-mail message sent by the Associated Press requesting a comment on the latest incident.

Mariah Carey sympathises with troubled singer Britney Spears - because she knows better than most how difficult it can be to live her life under such media scrutiny.

The 38-year-old singer admits she struggled with fame in her early years in the music industry, but believes Spears is not doing herself any favours by associating herself with the wrong type of people.

She says: "It's easy to say, 'With Britney, this and that didn't work out,' but I'm not that presumptuous.

"I've experienced it myself. Setbacks come if you lead your life in the public eye and let people get closer to you than you should.

"But it was never as dramatic with me as it was with Britney. I've never done hard drugs and I always had a firm hold of somewhere."

Britney Spears has a new admirer in the shape of Moby- who has proclaimed his undying love to troubled singer and even claimed he wants to marry her!

Britney Spears Primed For Biggest Human Comeback Of All Time

Britney Spears is getting ready to launch a new $100 million (that’s £50 million) world-wide comeback tour, according to The News Of The World.

Just recently – just yesterday, in fact - it seemed to all that, like Kurt Cobain and Vincent Van Gogh before her, Britney Spears had reached the end of the line. The feeling was she had nothing left to give - and that all she needed now was one small, gentle push into death’s eternal release. Ahh.

But, unlike like Kurt and Vince before her, she has seemingly decided that she actually does have something more to offer and that she is going to tour the world, giving it out for about $100 dollars a ticket!


To all of us who’ve once thought ‘what if Kurt hadn’t died?’ the remainder of Britney Spear's life will no doubt offer the answers we’re after. Maybe nothing, maybe everything, will be justified.

The singer/dancer is said to be in training to hit the road again, which perhaps puts an end to previous ‘Britney’s next step’ rumours, such as becoming a regular on a TV sitcom, or playing the role of a deep-south mental patient on stage, but who knows - perhaps she could do all three?

Imagine if Kurt survived! He may have ended up as a regular on Friends? As Phoebe’s new boyfriend, who doesn’t quite fit into the group because he’s ‘like, so serious?’ and when Chandler makes a sarky remark about Kurt’s uptight demeanor he just gets up and executes them all and then himself. If only he’d lived. Like Britney has been and is doing! Woop-woop!

A source tells the News Of The World:

"There will be no more on-stage blunders. Britney’s turned a corner and the world will be amazed with her. Things are looking up for Britney. She's finally focusing on her career again."

And the positivity doesn’t even stop there! Britney’s former manager, Larry Rudolph (sacked for trying to get her into rehab) has told Ryan Seacrest on his KISS FM radio show:

"I've seen her a few times over the past week or two. I've spent some time with her just socially. I've gone up to the house. I've sat with her. She's in great shape, I couldn't be happier to see the condition she's in. But this is not a time to talk about business with her. What she needs now is the public to be on her side and root for her, because she deserves it and that means a lot to her. I can't think of a situation where somebody's been set up for a bigger comeback than that girl."

Good for Britney Spears.

According to the Daily Mirror, the troubled singer has been having regular sessions at the clinic as part of a new, healthier lifestyle.

The newspaper quotes an anonymous source at the clinic, who said: "Cleansing a few times a week gets rid of lingering stuff in the colon.

"Britney's had the treatment before and says it makes her feel great, more upbeat and energetic."

In the most ridiculous item so far of the day dad Jamie reportedly checks Britney like she is about seven years old and makes certain she has her underwear on before she leaves the house, and that is when he allows her to go out. The National Enquirer cites an insider that says, "Jamie makes sure to ask Britney is she has underwear on before she goes out."

Oh and they are trying to get her to stop flashing her breasts and keep that checked as well. Brett is identified as her assistant in the story and the claim is that he keeps her from going braless. The source says, "Her dad is adamant and insists she change if she's falling out of her top."

A new museum of contemporary art, the CaixaForum, has opened in Madrid near the Prado, the Reina Sofía and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums, The Art Newspaper reported. The building was designed by the Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, and a wall of the square in front of the building has a 25-meter, or 80-foot, vertical garden designed by the botanist Patrick Blanc that features 15,000 plants of 250 species. A former pilot for Nazi Germany's air force writes in a forthcoming book that he believes he shot down the author of "The Little Prince," Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, although he cannot be certain. Horst Rippert, in his book, "Saint-Exupéry, the ultimate secret," said he shot down a Lockheed Lightning P-38 on July 31, 1944 - the type of plane Saint-Exupéry was flying the day he disappeared. The wreckage of his plane was later found off the Mediterranean coast of France. But, Rippert added: "I didn't see the pilot, and it would have been impossible for me to know that it was Exupéry. Carrie Underwood will be joining the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, as its newest member, The Associated Press reported. Underwood, 25, a former "American Idol" winner, was invited to join by Randy Travis, after she performed his song "I Told You So" at an Opry show this past weekend. Her debut album, "Some Hearts," released in 2005, has sold more than six million copies in the United States, and her latest album, "Carnival Ride," released in October, includes the hit "All-American Girl," her sixth consecutive No. 1 song on the country charts. Underwood has also been named the female vocalist of the year by both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. She will be inducted on May 10.

The American jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater was honored with an award from France's National Order of Arts and Letters. Bridgewater, 57, an American who has spent many years in France, was named a commander in the order - one of its highest ranks, and one she shares with two other Americans, the director Clint Eastwood and the choreographer William Forsythe - last week.

"Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!" made its U.S. box-office debut at No. 1 with an estimated weekend draw of $45.1 million, the best opening so far this year, according to The Associated Press. Jim Carrey provides the voice for "Horton." Last weekend's box-office winner, "10,000 BC," fell to No. 2 with $16.4 million for the three-day period.

Report: Mel Gibson Reaches Out to Britney Spears

LOS ANGELES — Mel Gibson and his family have befriended Britney Spears, thinking they can help her through her tough time, TMZ.com reported.

The two were at Romanov Restaurant and Lounge in Los Angeles Saturday night, where they reportedly dined together. Gibson, his wife Robin and their kids reached out to Spears during her darkest days and began seeing her, TMZ said.

The Gibsons feel like they know how tough it is to live in a fishbowl and they think they can help Spears, sources told TMZ. There have been private dinners in which Mel, Robin and the kids met up with Spears to give her support.

At Romanov's Saturday night, Gibson and Spears did not walk in or out together, TMZ reported.

After pleading no contest to a misdemeanor DUI charge on Aug. 17, 2006, Gibson was given three years' probation, ordered to pay $1,400 in fines and attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. After he was stopped, Gibson launched into an anti-Semitic rant, causing a scandal.

Spears' father, James, was named one of two co-conservators of her estate after the singer was hospitalized twice in January. Conservatorships are granted for people deemed unable to take care of themselves or their affairs.


Before her hospitalization, Spears had shown increasingly erratic behavior. She shaved her head, was seen in public without underwear, ran over a celebrity photographer's foot and attacked a vehicle with an umbrella.

According to reports, K-Fed and daddy Jamie – currently the court appointed guardian of Britney’s affairs – will apparently invest the singer’s own money in the Los Angeles venture.

A source tells the Mirror, “K-Fed wants to take over a Mexican place in LA with him and Jamie as managers.
“The restaurant, called Casa Cordobes, has been a favorite of Kevin’s for a while. He ate there with Britney. Now the owner wants to retire he really wants to run it.
“Kevin and Jamie get along well nowadays and Jamie is keen to get back into the restaurant game.”

Jamie still works as a private caterer, but his last restaurant venture ended in failure despite being bankrolled by Britney.

Britney Spears has reportedly had a tattoo removed. The pop star got the Hebrew words “mem,” “hey” and “shin” put on the back of her neck in 2004, but Spears has decided to get the words removed. Sources say she has spent $2,000 on laser removal.




“When she got the tattoo, Britney was in control of her life and her career. The whole world can see she’s lost control, and the tattoo made her feel like a hypocrite,” says a source.

Meanwhile, Spears is working on getting her life back on track. The 26-year-old recently released her next music video and will be guest starring on an episode of the sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother.’



The cast and crew of 'How I Met Your Mother' have been forced to wear wristbands on the US sitcom's set while Britney Spears is filming her cameo role - to prevent passers-by from snapping the singer at the studio.

The show's star Neil Patrick Harris was mistakenly refused entry to the stage - because he wasn't wearing one of the exclusive bands security officials issued to keep civilians out.

Harris tells Eonline.com: "It's been great. We're required to wear wristbands all day. It keeps meddling blogger friends from just strolling on to set to snap camera-phone pics. They have different wristbands every day, and it's like the ultimate after-party.





"I wasn't given a wristband, because I'm on the show, but then they swapped out security people and they wouldn't let me on the stage because I didn't have the proper wristband. We had words. I did eventually make it on set, because I just kept going through.

"But there were lots of 'Hey, hey - I need to see your wristband,' and I said, 'Lady, I'm actually on the show, so I don't have a wristband.' That's the kind of excitement there is on Stage 22 right now, mid-Britney."

The show featuring the troubled star is set to be aired on March 24 on US cable channel CBS.
