Dalai Lama denies receiving fellatio from Britney Spears

At a press conference in Seattle early this morning, Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, firmly denied having received oral sex from deranged pop star Britney Spears.

"I am trying to prevent a war and create peace in the world", the Tibetan leader stated. "Why are you hounding me about something that did not happen?"

The Dalai Lama claims he has never broken his vow of celibacy either orally or otherwise. Sources close to the leader claimed otherwise.

"I saw Britney sucking him off," said a monk who spoke on condition of anonymity. "I have a videotape".

The monk produced a grainy videotape of a man allegedly strongly resembling the exiled spiritual leader being fellated by a blond woman who may or may not have been Britney Spears. Identification could not be verified as the woman was only seen from behind.

Britney neither confirmed nor denied performing oral sex on the man his followers call "his holiness".

"I don't think so", the superstar diva claimed. "Maybe. I might have when I was drunk. That doesn't count, does it?"

When shown the videotape Britney simply exclaimed "THAT WAS HIM?"

Britney Spears In Minor Traffic Accident On Los Angeles Freeway, No Citations Issued

Pop star Britney Spears has been involved in a minor road accident on the Ventura Freeway in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old was driving her Mercedes through slow-moving traffic when she struck a Nissan which had stopped in front of her, police said.

The Nissan bumped into another vehicle but there was no damage and nobody in any of the cars was injured.

Officers from the California Highway Patrol went to the scene but no charges will be brought, a spokesman said.

This is not the first time that Spears has been involved in a traffic accident.

Last August she escaped a hit-and-run charge after paying an undisclosed amount of money to the owner of a vehicle into which she allegedly crashed in a car park.

And in 2006 Spears admitted making a "mistake" after being photographed driving with one of her sons on her lap, rather than strapped into a baby's car seat.

The singer's father, James Spears, currently has control of her assets.

He was granted what is known as "temporary conservatorship" in February after she was admitted to a psychiatric ward.

Spears' publicist did not respond to an e-mail message sent by the Associated Press requesting a comment on the latest incident.

Mariah Carey sympathises with troubled singer Britney Spears - because she knows better than most how difficult it can be to live her life under such media scrutiny.

The 38-year-old singer admits she struggled with fame in her early years in the music industry, but believes Spears is not doing herself any favours by associating herself with the wrong type of people.

She says: "It's easy to say, 'With Britney, this and that didn't work out,' but I'm not that presumptuous.

"I've experienced it myself. Setbacks come if you lead your life in the public eye and let people get closer to you than you should.

"But it was never as dramatic with me as it was with Britney. I've never done hard drugs and I always had a firm hold of somewhere."

Britney Spears is getting ready to launch a new $100 million (that’s £50 million) world-wide comeback tour, according to The News Of The World.

Just recently – just yesterday, in fact - it seemed to all that, like Kurt Cobain and Vincent Van Gogh before her, Britney Spears had reached the end of the line. The feeling was she had nothing left to give - and that all she needed now was one small, gentle push into death’s eternal release. Ahh.

As Phoebe’s new boyfriend, who doesn’t quite fit into the group because he’s ‘like, so serious?’ and when Chandler makes a sarky remark about Kurt’s uptight demeanor he just gets up and executes them all and then himself. If only he’d lived. Like Britney has been and is doing! Woop-woop!

"There will be no more on-stage blunders. Britney’s turned a corner and the world will be amazed with her. Things are looking up for Britney. She's finally focusing on her career again."

And the positivity doesn’t even stop there! Britney’s former manager, Larry Rudolph (sacked for trying to get her into rehab) has told Ryan Seacrest on his KISS FM radio show:

"I've seen her a few times over the past week or two. I've spent some time with her just socially. I've gone up to the house. I've sat with her. She's in great shape, I couldn't be happier to see the condition she's in. But this is not a time to talk about business with her. What she needs now is the public to be on her side and root for her, because she deserves it and that means a lot to her. I can't think of a situation where somebody's been set up for a bigger comeback than that girl."

According to the Daily Mirror, the troubled singer has been having regular sessions at the clinic as part of a new, healthier lifestyle.

The newspaper quotes an anonymous source at the clinic, who said: "Cleansing a few times a week gets rid of lingering stuff in the colon.

"Britney's had the treatment before and says it makes her feel great, more upbeat and energetic."
